My personal creation—and it took less than two hours!
As I’ve mentioned here before, I’m not a fan of fickle plants. I love succulents for this very reason: They require little water, not a lot of sunlight and are generally pretty difficult to kill. Plus,…
Thoughts: Every Single One.
EVERY person you encounter in your life has an effect on it. Every single one. Sometimes they are profound. Sometimes they are minute. It could be something like meeting your best friend, who stays in your life for years, and effects a TON of what you do. Or something as simple as that person on the street who scrunched their face at your shoes, so you changed them when you got home.
Then, there are the connections in-between… those are my favorite. The kind that arise from a casual encounter with an instant connection. That person in the line who just needed to talk. Someone who gives you the best kind of complement on your worst day. The one you “keep seeing everywhere” but have never met, and the moment when you finally introduce yourselves and have a good laugh because you both noticed the coincidence. Those genuine human connections that make your time on earth worth while. And make up for all those people who walk by on the sidewalk, and dont even look you in the eye.
I just think these things happen for a reason. Whether it’s to teach you something new, give you an outlet, inspire or re-inspire you, maybe just make you smile, or you could be doing one of those things for them. They may be in your life for a moment, or a life time, or anything in between. But they are all equally important. Make sure you always take what you should from it, and give whatever you can through it. And if you ever get the chance to let one of those people know what they did for you, whether intentionally or without even knowing, be sure to tell them what it ment to you, for them to just be them.
A good day
